Between Campaigns

Well at this point I'm in between camps in 21CW. Not sure if I will return to the Coal B Division or not, but at this point I am looking to go random and see what I get.

It's in-between time now and everyone is just hanging. The "serious" divisions are getting their stuff together and the "non-serious" divisions (like mine) are just enjoying the time in TS.

I looked back and I have been playing in the tourney for 3 1/2 years and 14 campaigns. That is a lot of my life spent on a video game, but I do try to take it in moderation. I just burned out this past camp and we'll see what is up for BF2 #6. I'll keep ya posted.

So much for my bracket

Well... 12 hours into the 2007 NCAA tourney and I officially am out.

Gonzaga and Duke screwed me over...

Are these two not the most overrated college basketball programs of the past 10 years or not? Neither one has made it to the Final Four and/or Championship Game and yet the national media and the NCAA fall over themselves to help them out in every way.

When was the last time Gonzaga had to leave their time zone to play in the first 2 rounds? They're from the West Coast Conference... this isn't like the Big Ten(11) or the SEC or something. It's the WCC for God's sake... quick, name one other WCC team... you can't can you?

Same with the Dukies. Oh, they're so cute with their little retro gym and the wood panelling and brass rails and oh so fantastic coach with the name that sounds like something you sneeze. When have they had to travel for their 1st round games?

Anywho... I'm out of the pool after two losses and it just frustrates the hell out of me, but what are you gonna do about it? Guess I'll loathe the NCAA Tourney for the weekend and get back to turning knobs on Monday. God, I suck.

Blogging the NCAAs

So, no problems with Sparty... thats what happens when you get out to a 14-0 start.

And the world's most hated college team, the Dukies, lose to VCU. Hmm... and people were saying the #6 seed was too low.

Watching IU/Gonzaga. Personally, I think Gonzaga is way overrated and won't ever make it to a Final Four, let alone a title game. Seems as though the NCAA bends over for them and puts them in basically a home game for the first two rounds. I can't remember the last time 'Zaga had to travel outside their time zone in the first two rounds. What a joke to have IU travel out there...

Prolly won't stay awake for the rest, but it's a good time of year... good time.
